![]() As I passed the less complicated levels, the following ones were impossible to overcome and I have a lot of experience leading squads. Success isn't even satisfying as it feels more like a string of luck over skill. I can't even say it's realistic, since your own AI squad blatantly doesn't have the same absurd accuracy and reactions of the enemy, it just feels like a badly designed difficulty, if it at least had checkpoints you wouldn't have to redo entire levels over and over but that makes it much worse since pretty much any strategy in the late game is luck if it works or not. You can't even safely give attack orders, since you can't see the enemy supression indicators (Which also served as an easy way to give attack orders through walls) and merely popping out of cover for a second to give an attack order can result in instant death. It seems untested when the basic mechanic that the game is based around, pinning and flanking, no longer consistently works and basically stops working entirely once the Panzergrenadiers with STG44s show up, who will constantly pop up despite seemingly being flanked and instantly mow you down across the map. ![]() (which doesn't always works as sometimes an enemy will pop up from cover and instantly kill you in a burst of machine gun fire.)
